A power supply offering 1-12 volts dc in 1V steps and a separate supply offering 1-12 volts ac. Both supplies are protected by independent push button cut-outs and illuminated mains switches. The unit also features two, switched double mains sockets.

The unit is housed in a bench mounted, powder coated steel case with mains inlets at either end.

 A bench mounted  module containing a total of five independent power supplies, four mains outlets and an optional pneumatic outlet.

PSU1      5V fixed voltage current limited to 2A

PSU2      12V fixed voltage current limited to 2A

PSU3      3-15V variable voltage current limited to 1A

PSU4      3-15V variable voltage current limited to 1A

PSUS 3&4 may be linked for dual rail mode-they are also each fitted with an adjustable voltage limiter.

PSU5      24V, 24W soldering output – standard   Bulgin connector.

Power supplies 1-4 are controlled by a key-switch, giving the option of 5 volts only or all power supplies on.

Power supplies 1-4 are monitored by a led system which glows green when everything is OK and red when there is a short circuit or other fault. Power supply 5 is protected by an automatically resetting thermal cut-out.

The unit also contains two, double switched mains outlets Dimensions 1200x120x80mm

The system comprises one master unit and up to 16 satellite stations.

The satellite station is a 5A ac and dc power supply similar to the Powerswitch. The student may dial up 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 volts. The output is protected by a fast acting push button cut-out.

The master control unit allows the teacher to override the student settings and control the entire system from the teacher’s bench. The master control has two keyswitches, one which selects master/student control and the other which selects the master control voltage. Hence the unit is completely tamperproof by students.

The units are interconnected using 8 core cable.

A robust double switched mains socket mounted in an angled, powder coated steel pod.  The unit is ideal for laboratories and technology rooms. The base of the unit has four fixing holes which surround a single 50mm hole.  Finished in gloss white.
